Hanmer Springs is a beautiful alpine spa village, surrounded by mountains, with its own little micro-climate. With thriving local Netball, Rugby, Ski and Golf Clubs, and a brand new Squash Club, where else would you rather play your sport? A beautifully maintained golf course, a well drained sports field, and near new netball courts, surrounded by snow topped mountains make it hard to focus on the sport you are playing. So just enjoy the moment, and think of what will come next; soaking away the aches in the thermal pools followed by a pleasant meal and a few drinks in one of the many eating and drinking establishments in the village.  

Or why not come up and enjoy the local ski area. A well kept secret by locals, just 40 minutes drive via the Clarence valley, takes you to the Hanmer Springs Ski area, run by the Amuri Ski Club. A rope tow and a Poma lift, are features of this “club” field, where any more than five persons in a line is considered crowded. And if being out on the snow is not your thing, then you can relax and enjoy the views from the well appointed day lodge.
