Chris Lee PDF  | Print |  E-mail
UK born singer/songwriter Chris Lee has spent the last few years touring world wide playing harmonicas with many talented musicians. Now spending time mainly between the UK and New Zealand his first album offers an insight into his diverse musical interests.

Chris has performed as a Drummer and Percussionist in many bands, including Nigel Kennedy and more recently gigs here in South Island with Brendan Power. His fascination with song writing led him into other areas. Learning Guitar and Keyboards, and more recently developing knowledge of recording, with the help of Paul Boyce his Producer resulted in this first solo album. With all his combined skills, playing most of the music himself and with the persuasion and help of good friends, this much acclaimed first solo album, resulted in many interviews, receiving considerable interest and airplay on BBC National Radio UK.

He fell in love with New Zealand and is now resident. He will be performing tracks from his first album demonstrating his sometimes quirky approach to music. With a leaning towards the blues he will be playing keyboards, harmonicas, guitar and percussion along with local musician friends Dave Lloyd and Ken Fairs. He is not afraid to cross musical boundaries and his approach can often surprise.

His recordings can be sampled on www.myspace.com /chrisleeradio or listened to and purchased from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
