Ralph Bennett-Eades is a New Zealand Singer Songwriter who sings the Blues. He started hollerin' the Blues and playing Slide Guitar in 1978, after immersing himself in the Mississippi Delta Blues of the early 1900's.

He found his way there via the likes of Led Zep, Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and Johnny Winter. Rocked his way to Auckland from Manawatu ( after recording the Skeptics ) via Taranaki and the Waikato supporting The Narcs and Midge Marsden and performing in Art Galleries, Prisons and Bars. Toured Nth Is. supporting Hammond Gamble, Toured with Poet Bruce Bisset and Taranaki Sol. Toured with his band "FAT'n'SASSY" and "HouseTrucker's Road Band" Worked Solo ( after the kids) M.C. @ Mountain Rock and Strawberry Fields Festivals.

Recorded "at the End of the Rainbow, Waihi in a Song" for Waihi Chamber of Commerce Waihi Expo. Wrote songs in Primary Schools as Artist in Residence ( Xmas Holidays being released on Kiwi Kids Songs ). Won Songwriting Competition @ Auckland Folk Festival. Travelled N.Z. four years running the Stage @ The Gypsy Fair. Settled in Motueka touring the Sth Is. extensively Solo and with his Band.
