Tribute to the EaglesTwo dreamers, one who wants to see “Make dreams come True” and the other who loves to emulate his musical heroes, have recently been working hard to realise their dreams. The result, from the team that brought you the Neil Diamond Tribute in 2008, is another amazing concert, this time a “Tribute to the Eagles”. After two sell out performances in Hanmer Springs, the team are going on the road, performing in Ashburton and Timaru early in July, and Christchurch late in August.

Realising that his singing skills would be stretched in trying to exactly emulate the vast range the Eagles sing, Musical Director Jason Fletcher, has recruited from Nelson, Christchurch, Rangiora and Hanmer Springs, and bought together eight talented and versatile musicians, that have been rehearsing for three months for this show. They bring their combined skills together to present over 30 Eagles songs, that according to the few who have been allowed to view practise sessions, “bring goose bumps to the skin”, so like the originals are the performances. With guest performer singer/song writer Michele Poore performing a solo bracket of her own songs, and then later joining the band for several numbers, the show promises a pleasant mix of vocalists, and stunning musical renditions of a host of Eagles tunes.

Don’t miss this fantastic performance. B
