| Richard Grahame (Bass and Vocals) Richard lived in Australia for 12 years before moving home in 2002. He is a talented artist with an Art and Pottery Studio by the name of "Artz Studio" His loves include Surrealist/Cubist Oil Painting, Pottery, Music/song writing, and of course, family. Richard admits his musical tastes are not that "mainstream" and tend to lean towards artists such as The Cure, Smiths, Frank Zappa, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. So when asked to help out with “ The Eagles" he was in two minds, as although he has grown up and loved listening to this band, he never thought he would be playing it as it is a challenging style for him to play! Luckily we have a great bunch of musos on board, two Richard has known now for many years, so he has joined us for the show. |
| Nigel Prebble (Guitar and vocals) Nigel has been a musician for 25 years and undertaken numerous musical projects in New Zealand, Australia and China. With a style resembling Southern Californian Rock he has branched out and embraced other formats including Folk, Traditional Chinese Music and recently Mid Seventies Punk (of all genres). The current Eagles project is a homecoming for this well traveled musician who has always wanted to emulate the band which provided so much musical influence during his youth. Nigel adds crisp vocal and guitar sounds to what can only be described as a star lineup | | Chris Hall (Guitar / Vocals / Backing vocals / Substitute bass player) Chris has been involved in music for 30 years – he started around age 8 / 9 playing drums for his parent’s country band at various hotels / restaurants & private functions. Through this he was privileged to play drums to support several well known country artists at various times including Patsy Rigger / Noel Parlane & Sir Howard Morrison. He began playing guitar instead after hearing Van Halen & Iron Maiden on the radio in the 1980's & wanted to emulate them himself...he is still trying!! He has been involved in rock & blues based covers & original bands ever since. This culminated in a 3rd place in the Auckland Battle of the Bands in 1997/8 & playing to 14,000 people at the Eastern B.O.P Christmas in the park in 2000. He has always enjoyed the Eagles - particularly the Joe Walsh & Don Henley influences & was excited about the challenge of learning all the material. Outside this he is studying towards a degree in politics through University & is involved in recording projects & covers bands. He also teaches Kung fu / Karate / Tai Chi / Chi Gung / Self Defence courses & Weapons classes through his martial arts club Si Lung (4 dragons) Kung Fu. His musical tastes normally run to metal bands but like most people he has an Eagles CD in his collection and is really looking forward to playing their music. In his spare time he writes short stories and practises martial arts. Most importantly he enjoys spending time with his family and is currently planning his wedding with Sharon, his wonderful fiancé. | | Graham Frith (Director) Once a Physical Education Teacher, then an Outdoor Instructor, then a Guide, now a Postie, and Event organiser, he has a talent for spotting and drawing out the talent in others, with a little gentle arm twisting.
