Hanmer Springs

Trail Festival

Conical Hill Challenge

Forest

Race Info

Sunday 13 September

A quick dash to the top of Conical Hill, take this one on solo or compete as part of a relay team for your chance to be king or queen of the mountain! With a climb of over 200m across 5km, this hill is certainly a challenge!

Once again starting and finishing at the historic Queen Mary Hospital, the route takes you through the heart of Hanmer Springs before you are faced with a gruelling climb to the top of Conical Hill. Once you’ve reached the summit house its time to test the knees on the descent to the finish line! A short stint on the Eagles Nest and Lucas Lane tracks will bring you back to the village and then it’s a sprint back to the finish line once you’ve crossed Jacks Pass. If you are competing as part of a team, it’s time to tag your teammate for their turn to conquer Conical Hill! The first team to have all four members across the finish line will be declared the winners!
